The crown jewel on their menu is undoubtedly the Yuanyang Hotpot, a flavorful dual broth combining spicy mala and mild herbal soup, giving you the best of both worlds as you cook your selections tableside. Particularly notable are the house specialties such as the tender 金牌黑毛肚 (Beef Tripe), the delicately textured 猪脑 (Pig Brain), and the addictive 无骨鸭掌 (Boneless Duck Feet), which offer unique textures and rich flavors that elevate the hot pot experience. What truly sets MLBB apart is its commitment to freshness and quality, highlighted by generous AYCE (all-you-can-eat) options featuring over 40 skewers and 30 sides, plus enticing dishes like freshly steamed crab legs. The pricing strikes the perfect balance between value and quality, especially for those eager to feast on premium ingredients without breaking the bank.
Many patrons rave about the attentive and warm service, with servers like Amy often mentioned for their intuitive care that enhances the overall experience. The décor strikes a charming balance — casual yet thoughtfully arranged — fostering a relaxed, welcoming vibe whether you come with friends, family, or colleagues.
Although the vegetable selection is somewhat limited, the freshness and quality of what is offered more than compensate. The broths, especially the spicy ones, deliver a robust, invigorating heat that perfectly complements the assortment of meats and seafood. For those who prefer a milder touch, their non-spicy bases and the sesame sauce are praised for adding authentic regional flavors that quietly elevate the meal.

It was delicious! By far one of my favorite Hotpot restaurant! Public service announcement medium is super super hot get mild if you're a spicy person My server Amy was so so amazingly sweet and extremely intuitive thank you there we go
This mala hotpot spot offers bold and spicy flavors, with the spicy broth being rich and delicious, while the mushroom broth is quite plain. The ingredients are fresh, but vegetable options are limited. A highlight from the snack menu is the snow crab, which adds a nice touch. The atmosphere is decent and not too crowded, making it a good place to try something new also more variety, it could be even better!
When we arrived, the place was quiet since it was Monday night. The decor is charming, and I enjoyed the broth, which had just the right amount of spiciness for my taste. I'm unsure if they will restock the fridge, as they only have a few tables. While there are plenty of options for meat and skewers in the all-you-can-eat menu, the selection of vegetables is somewhat limited. Next time, I might also try ordering noodles from the menu. Overall, it was a good experience for two people, and the staff were quick and helpful.
MLBB Hot Pot is an excellent hot pot restaurant! The place is clean and well-maintained, and the ingredients are always fresh. If you opt for the all-you-can-eat option, it’s definitely worth it—there’s a great variety of meats and other ingredients to choose from. If you’re from Northern China, I highly recommend their sesame sauce; it’s incredibly authentic and adds the perfect touch to the meal. A must-visit for hot pot lovers!
MLBB is a hidden gem for all-you-can-eat Chinese hotpot. The highlight? Fresh veggies and a variety of meat and seafood skewers you can dip into up to four broths simultaneously (extra cost). We tried spicy (malatang), tomato, mushroom, and pork broths—tomato and spicy were the clear winners. While the mushroom and pork broths were a bit salty and greasy for our taste, the quality and variety of ingredients made up for it. The sauce bar is small but has all the essentials, and the service is fast and attentive. The cozy, street-style interior adds to the experience, and parking is a breeze. Fair pricing, but beware: the spicy broth is no joke. Worth a visit!
My family has been coming here for years. I was worried that they would go out of business a few months ago (the crab legs and spicy beef oil soup base were gone). I’m so glad they brought them back. My favorite food items: Crab legs - they are HUGE and always fresh every time we come here Spicy beef oil soup base - get the medium spicy if u like spicy food (Chinese spicy might be too hot if u don’t have authentic hotpot a lot) Crispy brown sugar mochi (rice cake) - definitely one of my favorite desserts! If u like warm dessert that’s crispy outside and soft inside u have to try this! Taro balls and sesame balls - they pair very well with fresh fruits. My son have them with ice cream. Seasoned fish paste, shrimp paste, mussels, fish balls, fish tofu, tofu puffs, konjac, Japanese sweet potato, etc - they have a great selection of seafood, meat and veggies. wish the fridge was refilled more frequently tho Crawfish - pretty good for a hotpot place Free milk tea - my husband’s go to is the mango milk tea Service: The service today was perfect. We didn’t have to ask for extra napkins or hotpot broth refill. The waiters made sure we had everything we needed. The vibe: They were decorating for Halloween today and someone put a“biohazard” banner on top of the sauce bar (lol). I find it cute that the waiter was wearing a ratatouille hat. MLBB is definitely my favorite hot pot place in Duluth. The price is well worth it! I hope they stick around for a long time. Pls never change
